Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about buying vaping hardware legally in Australia, our products, shipping, and your rights as a customer.
Yes — with an important distinction. Zero-nicotine vaping hardware (starter kits, pod systems, coils, e-liquids) can be legally purchased online from compliant retailers like Super Vape Shop. Nicotine-containing vaping products can only be purchased through authorised Australian pharmacies under a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner, as per the TGA Vaping Reforms Act.
The Therapeutic Goods and Other Legislation Amendment (Vaping Reforms) Act 2023 came into effect from July 1, 2024. The reforms classify nicotine vaping products as prescription-only therapeutic goods. General retailers can no longer stock or sell nicotine-containing vapes. Super Vape Shop operates fully within these laws by exclusively selling zero-nicotine hardware and accessories.
No. Super Vape Shop sells exclusively zero-nicotine vaping hardware, starter kits, e-liquids (0mg), coils, pods, and accessories. None of our products contain nicotine, so no prescription is required. You simply need to pass our 18+ age verification at checkout.
Veratad is an enterprise-grade identity verification system used at checkout. It cross-references the name, date of birth, and address you provide against Australian government databases in real time. The check typically takes under 3 seconds and does not store sensitive documents. If verification passes, your order proceeds immediately.
Closed pod systems use pre-filled, sealed cartridges that are discarded once empty. Open pod systems have refillable pods that you fill with your own e-liquid. Open systems are generally more cost-effective, allow coil replacement, and produce less waste. All of the pod systems we stock are open-system devices compatible with 0mg nicotine-free e-liquids.

For beginners, we recommend an open pod system such as the Vaporesso XROS series or the Caliburn G series. These devices feature auto-draw activation, replaceable pods, USB-C charging, and produce a satisfying mouth-to-lung draw that mimics the feel of a cigarette. They are compact, easy to maintain, and use affordable replacement pods.
Yes. We stock a curated range of dry herb vaporisers from established brands. Dry herb vaporisers heat botanical material using convection or conduction heating without combustion, producing vapour rather than smoke. These are legal hardware devices under Australian law. Please ensure you comply with your local state laws regarding the substances you use with these devices.
